Join us for a "Space Dyeing" presentation and Faux Ikat Dye Workshop by the wonderful (and talented!) Kathleen Waln on May 14th, Monday, at 10 a.m. at the Irvine Fine Arts Center.
Be sure to return all the borrowed books from the library by the May meeting.
Bring your items for show and tell and something delicious to share for the hospitality table. New faces are always welcome to join us in the fun of sharing our knowledge and talents with each other.
For those who can't make the daytime meeting or for those who would like to join us in the evening as well, the Small Looms Group meets the Tuesday evening directly following the general meeting. The South Coast Weavers and Spinners Guild welcomes you to our website! We are located in Orange County, California and our members come from all over southern California. We have a general meeting once a month with a program and a speaker at the Irvine Fine Arts Center (www.irvinefinearts.org) in Heritage Park at 14321 Yale Road, Irvine, California. Our meetings begin at about 10 a.m. and usually go till noon. We also have special events and many small group meetings for spinners and weavers both during the day and evening. We welcome you to join us on our journey exploring the textile arts of weaving and spinning as well as other fiber arts.
