A community of weavers and spinners willing to learn, teach, and share.

South Coast Weavers and Spinners Guild is located in Orange County, California, and our members come from all over southern California.  We have a general meeting once a month (typically on the second Monday), September through June, with a program and speaker at the Irvine Fine Arts Center. Doors open at 10:15am and our meetings begin at 10:30. We also have several small group meetings for spinners and weavers.

Small Groups

Small Groups meet once a month, September through May. All members are welcome. For more information, please contact the guild directly.

Weave Structures Study Group meets from 10AM to noon on the first Monday of the month at Deborah Heyman's home (currently virtual through Zoom). Please contact Deborah for more information and to RSVP.

Tapestry/Small Looms meets from 10AM to noon on the fourth Monday of the month at Margaret Steepleton's home in Tustin. Please contact Margaret for more information and to RSVP.

Spinning/Handwork meets from 10AM to noon on the third Monday of the month at the University Community Association Clubhouse on Sandburg in Irvine.
