Our program is Embellishing, Cutting and Sewing With Your Woven Cloth by Marcia McCormack. Your woven cloth can be used for more than basic projects such as towels, scarves, blankets, and placemats. You can construct garments such as jackets, tops, vests, and skirts ... with hats and purses to match! This presentation on will introduce you the exciting prospect of embellishing, cutting and sewing with your woven fabric. Besides fashion and accessory designs for yourself, friends and family, you will learn how you can construct clothes for dolls ... and your dog too! Learn about embellishing techniques such as needle felting and couching and how to spin and ply your own yarn with your sewing machine. Doors open at 10:15.
