Our speaker will be Deanna Deeds. Deanna will be sharing her knowledge about shadow weave. Shadow weave can seem a bit mysterious. In a presentation using photos and illustrations, Deanna will help to unveil the shadowy secrets of this almost magical weave. She will give an overview of shadow weave's history and basic characteristics. Then we will dive into how shadow weave works and its two main "systems", the effects of the various contrasting characteristics of yarns, how it can be viewed as a block weave, and some interesting variants of shadow weave.
