We will be having an ‘in-person’ gathering at the Irvine Fine Arts in December, at long last! However we will also be running the meeting as a Zoom interface so we will be able engage with you all. Please note that the IFA entrance (10:15AM) and Zoom access (10:30AM) times have changed. Zoom information will be emailed to the membership in advance of the meeting.

I am SO pleased to announce that we will be meeting in person this month for our annual fundraiser, the “not so silent” auction and holiday party. Each member should bring fiber related items they are willing to part with: fiber, yarns, tools, books, accessories, etc. (Now is the time to go all out!) We will group them into irresistible tableaux. Tickets will be sold. The more tickets you buy, the lower the price of each ticket. Write your last name on each of your tickets and put them in the bags next to the items you wish to own. It is not a coincidence that the more of your tickets in the bidding bag, the better your chance of winning!

The difference this year, than in years past, will be the absence of our potluck feast. If you would like a nosh or a nibble, please bring your own to eat out on the patio. Full vaccinations are suggested, and masks indoors are required. Please keep a social distance in mind inside and outside of the building.

If this goes as well as expected, we will resume in person meetings beginning in January next year, with a mix of Zoom and in person presentations.
